The Pythian Council and other stakeholders are still gathering input, but based on feedback so far, we’re proceeding toward an orderly sunset of Express Relay by or before the end of Q2 as outlined.
Separately, still working to find a new home for the Express Relay codebase.
Fee withdrawal: OP-PIP-106 ( OP-PIP-106: Upgrade the Pyth Express Relay Program on Solana to add an SPL token withdrawal instruction ) is now live.
This upgrades the Express Relay program to enable SPL token withdrawals (specifically for the USDC balance). Once passed, the Pythian Council can, via another OP-PIP, withdraw the accumulated fees (~6 figures) to the Pyth DAO treasury.
This does not impact any future decision (if ER would NOT be sunset by the Pyth DAO or sold to someone else).
