Abstract
This proposal aims to approve the recent election of 4 councilors for the 3rd Pythian Council as well as approving the stipend of 100,000 PYTH for the Pythian Council members.
Description
- Approve the newly elected Pythian Council members
From April, 1, 2025 to April, 8, 2025 the elections for the replacement of 4 members of the Pythian Council was concluded according to the Pyth DAO Constitution.
The 4 candidates with the most votes are the following:
- Yaser, Douro Labs ā 51.8M votes
- Marc, Pyth Data Association ā 7.8M votes
- George M, XBTO ā 7.6M votes
- Lee Mount, Euler Labs ā 5.8M votes
They will replace:
- Guillermo Bescos, Douro Labs
- Afif Bandak, Synthetix
- Robinson Burkey, Wormhole
- Marc Tillement, Pyth Data Association (re-elected)
And join the below council members:
- Nope ā Save, Suilend
- Jayant Krishnamurthy ā Douro Labs
- Ivo Galic ā Trebuchet Network
- Y2Kappa ā Kamino
- Approve the stipend request to the Pythian Council members
Following the request here, the Pythian Council would receive ā assuming all conditions are met ā 100,000 PYTH tokens or a 6-months tenure stipend of 12,500 PYTH per council member.
If approved by the onchain vote, the stipend will be paid out when the 4th Pythian Council gets introduced in 6 months.
