Following the initial proposals (Pythenians 2.0, Pythenians 2.0 Key Proposal summary) and community feedback, this post outlines the full scope of work required to bring Pythenians II to life, designated responsibilities, and budget requirements.
Timeline:
Targeting 1 month ( additional time might be required in case of emergencies)
Scope of Work:
Mint Closure & Collection Control
Permanently closing the mint, locking final supply at 1,750. Collection authority and infrastructure move fully under Community Council control, so no outside party retains access to the collection.
Metadata & Level System
Every Pythenian receives a new Level trait, starting at Level 1. Behind it, an automated system updates each NFT’s metadata and artwork the moment a level upgrade happens - no manual steps, no waiting on a dev. Because upgrades run entirely on infrastructure we control, they’re instant and cost nothing on-chain.
Visual Upgrades
Handcrafted artwork for Level 2 and Level 3, drawn as new elements on the collection’s original master file. The collection’s art engine is being rebuilt from that same master file, verified against the existing images, so upgraded artwork is regenerated automatically on every burn - pixel-perfect and true to the original style.
PytheniansHub
A one-stop shop for everything a Pythenians holder needs:
Personal Space - connect your wallets, view your Pythenians, and burn & upgrade through a single signed transaction. Burning stays live until the collection reaches 1,750, then closes forever
Badge & Score system - powered by an upgraded version of what you knew as Pythentity
Collection Overview & Insights - supply, burn progress, level distribution, and collection stats in one place
Landing page and full web design across all features

Budget Request:
500$ for each participant, 2000$ total requested from Pythenians Treasury
What the community gets?
A fully functional, self-sustaining platform. Burn mechanics live. Level system active. Badges and scores operational. A collection fully owned and operated by its community, with the treasury generating revenue from day one.
This is exactly the kind of utility I’ve always wanted to see for the main collection. Everything above makes perfect sense and feels genuinely complete.
I seriously can’t wait for the launch. My four NFTs are already locked and loaded: three to burn and one to upgrade.
Kept one extra aside to flip to whoever is late once everyone starts rushing in.
I like the idea of the community controlled Collection with a mass influence of the Pyth culture with personal game type(upgrade from levels) structure. Highly anticipating wen this roll out
I am in fully support of this and seeing pythenian grow is every community member wish.
This means people with just one pythenian can’t level up after the mint has been stoped.
Talking about the levels and it’s tied benefits, it clearly stated that level 5 is different from level 5 through activeness and participation and not just burning and disappearing.
Now my curiosity comes in, does level 5 who just burn to attain the level gets same benefits as the other level 5 who is completely active in the community ?
And also level 1 with more participation than that first instance of level 5 or other, are they rank equal or special tier reward for the level 1 with more participation.
Or will there be other ways to level up as time goes ?
Thanks, guys, for finding ways to make our boys even better. I’m sure this revamp will provide a fresh boost and bring the Pythenians closer to the place they deserve.
I really like the direction of this proposal. The level system, visual upgrades and the Hub finally give the collection a clear next step. I also like that everything will move under Community Council control.
The $2,000 budget feels more than fair for the work described.
The only part I’m still a little unsure about is what happens after the first month. It would be good to know who will maintain the Hub and deal with any bugs or technical issues later.
I’m also curious about the extra tools and utilities mentioned in the proposal. Not a concern, I’d just like to know a bit more about what is planned.
Happy to see the focus on giving more control to the community. That’s the kind of direction I’d like to see more often. Looking forward to the rollout
