Hey Pyth community
I’ve been thinking a lot about Oracle Integrity Staking (OIS), and I believe there’s a huge opportunity to increase its adoption — not just among crypto-natives, but also everyday people who want to participate but get lost in the complexity.
Here’s a proposal (and a call for collaboration) to make OIS more accessible, more transparent, and more engaging — starting with education, tooling, and UX improvements.
1. Teach AI to Educate Stakers Through Smart Data
Let’s face it — most current dashboards and staking platforms assume the user already knows how oracles work. But most people don’t.
What if we trained AI using curated queries to guide people how to stake on OIS properly and answer any questoins in real time?
Imagine an onboarding experience where you could ask:
• “How much would I earn if I staked 10,000 PYTH with Publisher X?”
• “Which publishers have the lowest slashing history?”
• “What does it mean when a pool is full?”
Has anyone already started building educational bots or dashboards like this? Would love to collab on building this out. Who else thinks we should create an AI-driven, 24/7 support assistant for stakers?
2. Real-Time ROI Simulations
People want to know before they stake what kind of return they might see.
Would it be possible to simulate expected ROI for each pool based on current stake levels, publisher performance, and network inflation? A simple slider or input box where users enter their PYTH amount and get an estimated return could be huge.
Would this feature change how you choose a pool?
3. Alert System for Stakers: Don’t Set & Forget
Most people stake… and forget.
We need:
• Alerts when a pool becomes overfilled and yields drop below 8%
• Alerts when slashing occurs in a pool you’re staked in
• Weekly “win” reminders when rewards are distributed
This could be via Telegram, email, or wallet-connected notifications. Simple, powerful, and great for long-term engagement.
Who’s already working on something like this?
Would you opt into alerts if they existed?
4. Deep Linking Between Insight Hub & OIS Dashboard
Currently, it’s hard to research a publisher while staking.
What if every pool listed in the OIS interface had a direct link to that publisher’s Insight Hub profile? Imagine checking feeed history, asset coverage, latency stats, and more before locking in your tokens.
Would this increase your confidence in choosing a pool?
5. Why Aren’t Publishers Staking?
This one puzzles me: If publishers are rewarded for good performance, why aren’t more of them staking PYTH themselves?
Is it:
• Regulatory uncertainty?
• Lack of awareness?
• Risk aversion?
Maybe we need to create FOMO for publishers just like we do for stakers.
6. FOMO-Based Engagement Tactics
Let’s gamify and energize participation:
• Scarcity model: If you don’t stake in time, higher-yield pools get full, and you’re left with lower-performing options.
• Leaderboards: Highlight top X stakers (non-publishers) weekly or monthly.
• Extra IA bonuses: For leaderboard stakers to incentivize deeper involvement.
What’s your favorite way to create FOMO in a staking protocol?
Would you support a community-led leaderboard initiative?
Let’s build a staking ecosystem that’s smart, transparent, and fun to use — not just for pros, but for everyone.
If you’re working on anything similar, or want to collab, drop a comment.
