On November 3rd 2026, Douro Labs made its October distribution of 621,330 USDC directly to the Pythian Council Ops multisig wallet.
The payment represents the DAO’s share of revenue from Pyth Pro subscriptions, Listing as a Service (LaaS), and Pyth Indices. The subscription share follows CO-PIP-9. Under OP-PIP-136, the Council will convert the received USDC into PYTH under the DAO-approved rules and transfer the purchased PYTH to the DAO treasury.

October highlights
- In its October Q3 recap, Pyth reported $2.16 trillion in tracked real-world-asset perpetual volume, of which $2.04 trillion (94.4%) was priced using Pyth data. Open interest reached a record $12.6 billion. Pyth separately reported that it priced 98.3% of tracked equity-perpetual volume during Q3.
- The DAO’s Strategic Reserve V2 established a standing process for converting eligible non-PYTH assets into PYTH. Distributions received directly in PYTH are held by the DAO rather than counted as market purchases. The public reserve tracker showed 56.2 million PYTH held in the DAO treasury at its November 1 update.
- Pyth’s constant-maturity U.S. Treasury indices went live across seven tenors from 2Y to 30Y. Each tenor has a par-yield feed and a discount-factor feed, for 14 feeds in total, published on Pyth’s 200 ms channel during weekday sessions. These are independently calculated Pyth indices, not the U.S. Treasury’s official curve.
- Exa is testing Pyth as a market-data layer for agentic search, combining web research with current and historical market observations.
- Pyth Pro MCP Server 1.1added tick-level price retrieval for windows of up to 60 seconds, clearer feed-access information, and shorthand lookup for supported pairs such as BTC/USD.
- Four Korean equity feeds —SK Hynix, Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, and Samsung Electro-Mechanics—now publish through Korea’s 16:00–20:00 KST post-market session on trading days.
- At WFIC 2026, Douro Labs’ Michael James joined a panel moderated by Morgan Stanley, alongside speakers from Nasdaq, Cboe, OTC Markets, and TraditionData, on the data and operational demands of extended trading hours.
