Abstract

This proposal aims to approve the recent election of 7 councilors for the newly-created Community Council as well as allocating 1,420,000 PYTH from the DAO treasury to the Community Council wallet to perform all the activities outlined in this post for 6 months.

Description

  1. Approve the Community Council

On March, 4, 2025, the Pyth DAO has approved the creation of the Community Council as the 3rd council within the Pyth DAO — onchain vote.

From March, 11, 2025 to March, 18, 2025 the elections of the inaugural members of the Community Council was concluded according to the Pyth DAO Constitution.

The 7 candidates with the most votes are the following:

  1. Update to the Community Council’s Code of Conduct

This proposal also suggests the update of the code of conduct to remove sections related to the operational goals of the council that were more appropriate to reflect in the constitution. All other terms remain the same.

  1. Approve the Community Council’s Budget

In response to the request raised here, This proposal also suggests to transfer 1,420,000 PYTH from the DAO treasury wallet available here: 9HKkxg5dpqjUEW1U2r76SpQCH7uvDMciytNYxrpwMVNc, to the Community Council wallet: GKuPcXtNRJwZGrJ8tV25jSbLHZe71BUdUXVzjGLXkSt9.
